Don’t miss our Seventh Caregiving Basics Training Event

Our Seventh monthly caregiving training is coming up soon, in partnership with Ca Care Association.

Ca Care Association is committed to educating, preserving, and developing Home and Community-Based Programs that enhance the safety and well-being of California's most vulnerable residents in senior and adult communities; that is a self-determined and person-centered approach.

Elegant Care Villa and Ca Care have a common goal – to provide quality and dignified care to all residents in California. Our collaboration aims to impact the community by adding resources for caregiver career training and compliance. So that way, we can help reduce the risk for individuals living in facilities and Increase available caregivers with basic caregiver training to work in California Licensed Care Programs administered by the Community Care Licensing Division under California’s Department of Social Services (CDSS).

At Elegant Care Villa, we understand that caregiver training is essential to providing high-quality care. We're proud to host on July 5 a training on The Interdisciplinary Team (ID) and Systems of Support, which will go over the role of the Interdisciplinary Team, their responsibilities, and how the systems of support play a part in this.

The Interdisciplinary Team (ID) and Systems of Support

It takes a team to raise a child, and the same is true when caring for an elderly loved one or someone with a developmental disability. It can be difficult to know how to best meet their needs, and it can be hard to find the time and resources to do so. But there is hope! An interdisciplinary approach to caregiving can make a big difference for both caregivers and care recipients. By working together, professionals from different backgrounds can pool their knowledge and create a comprehensive care plan that meets all of the elderly' needs.

That is the main reason individualized care takes note of each patient's preferences and needs and ensures that everyone receives the care and attention they need. This event is open to anyone interested in caregiver training, including Recruiting Caregivers, Direct Support Professionals, private duty caregivers, and the workforce.
